ANCHOR – coming soon!!

for your mind. for your soul. meditation and affirmation practices to help you connect to the person inside the body. so much of western yoga practices focus so heavily on the physical, but yoga really happens on the inside. here, we move less. we sit, we breathe, we observe.

FOUNDATION – coming soon!!

whether you are brand new to yoga building a foundation for the first time or have been practicing for years and want to fortify a foundation you've already established, there is something for you here. in these classes we take our time, dig deep, and find our own version of each yoga pose. each class is built around and leads up to a specific posture, opening and strengthening the body in just the right way so that you can feel your best when you finally arrive at that destination.

PINPOINT Yoga for ________. – coming soon!!

classes designed for something specific; reasons, body parts, demographics. think: yoga for runners, yoga for tech neck, yoga for tight hips, yoga for people who sit at a desk 40 hours a week, yoga for sensitive wrists, yoga for constipation, yoga for when you need some movement but can’t get sweaty. and id LOVE some requests for these classes, so whatever your thing is – if there isn’t already a class for it, send me an email and I’ll work on getting one up asap!

CHAIR – coming soon!!

A way to practice with a different base of support and relationship to gravity. Whether you choose chair yoga because standing is not accessible, you aren’t feeling 100% steady on your feet, you’re trying to sneak in some yoga at your work desk, or you simply prefer seated options for any reason, there are endless benefits inside a chair supported class.

GENTLE YOGA – coming soon!!

That sweet spot between hatha and vinyasa that allows space for both moving with breath enough to warm the body and lingering in poses long enough to feel the fullness of what they have to offer. Strength, space, stability, and a throughline of presence to take it all in. We move at a pace that aims to be accessible to people of all ages and experience levels.

HATHA – coming soon!!

In this medium intensity practice we use breath as a support within postures more than a guide through them. Holding poses for a few breaths at a time allows for deeper connection to each posture before smoothly transitioning to the next. In every yoga pose there are so many potential sensations to feel and ways to simultaneously expand and deepen. With each breath there exists a whole new way to experience the same pose.

SEED – coming soon!!

A vinyasa / hatha hybrid class. First, we move with breath in a vinyasa-style way where we move more quickly from one pose to another, but the breath pace is encouraged to be just a bit slower and deeper than you might see in a vinyasa practice. We follow guided movement with open free flow space for more opportunity to customize your practice to your needs in the exact moment. Then, we slow it down and dig a little deeper moving into a more hatha style sequence that allows for a few breaths per pose to really get the full experience of each posture. With a little yin to close us out, this practice really has a little bit of everything.

VINYASA – coming soon!!
a high energy connection of movement to breath.  Your inhale moves you; your exhale moves you. We move with fluidity through poses from one to the next creating seamless connections. Learning and practicing smooth transitions helps to increase proprioception, generate warmth, and build confidence for moving through life both on and off the mat.

GROW – coming soon!!

a vinyasa practice that oscillates between guided sequences and open free flow space. We’ll come together to build flows of increasing length throughout practice. Once we’ve moved through a flow a few times together, space opens up for free flow to allow for your own unique expansion on what we’ve already done. My hope is that you use the sequence I offer to simply get your body moving and then trust yourself one breath at a time to explore, discover, and create your own flow. Of course, you can also stick with the same sequence over and over if you either aren’t in the mood to branch out or if you like the memory game of it!

KNEAD – coming soon!!

Unhurried. A slow, gooey, restorative flow. Movements are deliberate, fluid, and repetitive. Back and forth between sinking deeper and expanding bigger. We make space in the body while feeling stable and grounded. Breath as a guide and breath as an enhancer.

MELT – coming soon!!

Yin-ish. Restorative-ish. Not quite strictly yin, or restorative, but a sweet blend of both. Time and gravity do the physical work as we melt into (mostly) grounded poses. Because we stay for a bit, the body gets to release beyond initial points of tension and resistance and loosen the grip that simply cannot be let go of in mere seconds. While we stay, we get to meditate. Or think. Or reflect. Or plan. Or daydream. Quality time spent in your own depths.

BUILD – coming soon!!

Similar to foundation and pinpoint classes, we have something very specific that guides our Build practice. Here, we get to work toward poses that take a little more time and dedication to unlock. Each class centers around a peak pose and we spend the entire time preparing for, trying, and releasing from that one pose. While I am never here to tell you how to feel, it is important to me to note that the execution of a pose is not the yoga and that every step along the way is a valuable practice in itself. The pursuit of a goal can be a healthy and worthwhile endeavor but there is no pose or physical act that makes your yoga more valid.

ASHTANGA-ISH – coming soon!!

Inspired by and mostly following the traditional sequence of poses in the ashtanga practice, but without the pressure and expectation of perfection. Ashtanga is a vinyasa style practice that offers opportunities for discipline and physical pose progression by following the same order of poses every time. My personal experience with ashtanga has been more stiff and arbitrarily harsh than I prefer in my yoga practice. In ashtanga-ish classes you’ll find the same poses, sequence, and options for intensity, infused with the sensation-based curiosity and reminders to listen deeply to your own bodys cues that you can always expect from me. Its an intense practice on purpose - with space to make it yours.
